Building Consultant/ Assessor

South and  Western suburbs Of Melbourne

We are leading company specialising in Domestic Insurance, Restoration work in the South and  Western suburbs Of Melbourne area. Currently we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Building Consultant for a permanent position to join our existing Team.

As a Building Consultant you will be responsible for inspecting building damage to domestic insured properties. Your role will be to investigate the cause of loss or damage, quantifying the repairs as well as determining the best method of repair, estimating the cost of repair and report writing.

This role requires the person to have a keen eye for detail when assessing and analysing claims.

Essential Attributes:

  • Trade background and excellent knowledge of the construction industry
  • Report writing abilities (Training Provided)
  • Background of producing accurate priced scopes of works
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution

Greater Geelong

We are a multi state company specialising in Domestic Building Insurance work in the Greater Geelong area and occasionally Melbourne West and Ballarat. Currently we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Building Consultant for a permanent position to join our existing Team.

As a Building Consultant you will be responsible for inspecting building damage to domestic insured properties. Your role will be to investigate the cause of loss or damage, quantifying the repairs as well as determining the best method of repair, estimating the cost of repair and report writing (training provided).

This role requires the person to have a keen eye for detail when assessing and analysing claims.

Carpenter

We are leading company specialising in Domestic Insurance, Restoration work in the Melbourne Metro area.

Currently we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Carpenter, for a permanent position to join our existing team.

Shape or cut materials, using hand tools, machines or power saw.

Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware, using carpenter’s hand and power tools. Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools, and panelling.

Remuneration is above the award (Building and Construction General On-site 2010) for the

right tradesperson

Must have:-

  • Trade qualification and have a current drivers licence
  • White card
  • Police check
